Ultrasound, is Mark Kavuma’s fifth album release under the Banger Factory umbrella.  It marks a further stride forward toward his vision of bringing together seemingly disparate elements from the bubbling London jazz scene, uniting sounds and players from across generations and creating a unique, exciting, and fresh sound all of its own.

The album marks the start of a new partnership with saxophone player Theo Erskine, sparking new creative ideas. It aims to capture the zeitgeist of a unique moment when musicians starved of collaborative music making during the pandemic met again in joy yet tinged with reflection.
